To be successful with anything that you do, it is important to have an understanding of what steps you need to take to achieve. Knowledge is key, Knowledge is POWER... but without a FOCUS on the day-to-day steps, the minute details that will allow you to accomplish you will fail. Action is required on the basic level if you want to experience the gains that will leave you fullfilled. Whether it is achieving in business or losing weight... making millions... having a successful marriage/relationship... SUCCESS COMES IN THE DETAILS. Prepare & Succeed

In a time when life is constantly presenting changes and challenges, it becomes essential to insure you, your family and your business has the ability to remain stable and secure. The proper allocation of insurance products is the answer to uncertainty. What would you do if your primary source of income dries up? Do you have a plan to overcome a catastrophic event resulting in a one year lose of business? Are you prepared to overcome any challenge to your business and your family? If you can not answer any of those questions immediately and without hesitation then you need to rethink what is most important to you and your family.

To often we wait for tragedy to strick before we think about the consequences of an event. My goal with this blog is to help educate and stimulate thinking on how to overcome challenges. The proper allocation of insurance products can guarantee loss of income will not negatively impact your family and a sudden illness will not put you in a position of choosing between your daily living needs and your medication or treatment options.

It is most important to recognize what areas of your life and your family's life may create a disruption in your daily living. Sickness and/or a loss of income usually are the culprits. Whether it is a key person in your business or family that is not able to perform the regular duties or its a downturn in market conditions due to forces of nature or a restructuring of the world as you know it, the PROPER preparation is required to insure success for you, your family and your business.

Sometimes you may need a third party "looking in" to point out the systemic needs. Objectivity is key to proper assessment to allow for the opportunity to prepare. Take the time and review your monthly financial needs. This is a 30 minute process of writing down numbers, if you can not accomplish that in 30 minutes then you REALLY need to take the time and PREPARE TO SUCCEED. Once you know your needs then you can assess do you have everything in place to meet your family needs. A 6 to 8 month shortterm plan is the first portion of your preparation followed immediately with a 2 year plan for overall security.
